Present Participle
Present participle is
often used by using verbs and is most used in continuous tense sentences (due
to the addition of the -ing verb). For example: running, walking, sitting,
reading, typing, etc. If the participle is present beginning with "to
be", the sentence becomes a continuous tense form, for example:
·
I am typing on
the phone.
·
She was dating the
football captain.
